On February 26th, 2016, the Art Department invited a high school group from Hoover, AL to come and learn about JSU’s Graphic Design concentration. While here, they participated in two hands-on Graphic Design workshops and a Creative Cloud Lecture given by the Graphic Design Faculty. They learned about screen printing, seamless pattern making, and were shown demonstrations with tools that artists and designers use in their every day life.

The whole event was orchestrated by JSU Graduate Students: Blake Dodgen, Charissa Flagg, and Patrice N. Anderson. They also helped by assisting with workshops and giving tours.
